These wild palms pop up all on their own. They’re quite amazing – they grow quickly and provide wonderful shade not to mention the palm fronds are just beautiful – I love taking photos of them, especially with light shining from behind – look how it lights up the palm.
We’ve had many of these palms to pop up, but for some reason they usually do so at the very edge of a walkway, which means once they start growing you wouldn’t be able to walk by. We tried transplanting one of these palms but it didn’t make it. The one in our backyard was one that popped up on its own, and it just happens to be in the perfect location.
Could use a few more… wink…
